10 points for tile acceptance
Visual inspection
Make sure that the tiles after paving do not have problems such as color difference, edge collapse, cracks and cracks.
Cracks and cracks: Under the irradiation of natural light, check whether there are cracks or cracks on the brick surface by eye + hand.
Generally speaking, cracks are easier to detect, while small cracks are easier to ignore. Cracking may be caused by paving without seams, improper cutting, and excessive cement labels.
Collapse edge: Observe whether there are obvious defects in the corners of the tiles. If there is no problem with the purchased tiles during inspection, it may be caused by improper handling or construction operations.
Color difference: Under natural light, there is no obvious color difference in adjacent tiles in the same space.
There is no soaking in water before paving, and the high water absorption rate of the tiles leads to excessive water absorption in the adobe, which is an important reason for the color difference. In addition, the number of tiles is insufficient, and the tiles of the same batch and color number are not purchased when replenishing, which may also cause color difference.
Paving direction: Some tiles or tiles with special texture direction should be pasted in the direction indicated by the bottom mark when paving.
Brick joints: Brick joints are filled with jointing agent, caulking agent or beauty agent. The gaps on the brick surface are regular and consistent, and the joints are even and tidy.
Process inspection
Empty drum rate: The empty drum rate of wall and floor tiles should be controlled within 3%, and the empty drum on the main channel must be reworked. The inspection method usually uses a special small steel hammer or a small iron hammer or a small iron rod, and gently knocks on the four corners and middle of the tiles, the sound is crisp, which is normal; if there is a hollow sound, it is an empty drum.
Verticality: There are yin and yang angles on the tile wall. You need to use a yin and yang angle ruler to detect the square degree of all yin and yang angles. According to national requirements, the deviation of yin and yang angles cannot exceed 3 mm. If you find it troublesome, you can also directly use tiles to detect the verticality of the corners.
Flatness: The uneven laying of tiles not only affects the appearance, but also affects the placement of furniture. You can use a 2m ruler to put it in a horizontal position, and then plug it in the upturned place with a gauge and check the reading. Generally speaking, a range of no more than 2mm is normal.
Water slope: toilets, balconies and other spaces are prone to water accumulation, so pay attention to the slope when laying tiles. During acceptance, a pouring experiment can be done to see if the running water and drainage speed are smooth and unobstructed.
Yin and yang corners: The yin and yang corners should be processed to a certain extent. Improper handling will affect the appearance and cause the brick corners to collapse and damage. Generally, 45 ° chamfering or corner strips are used to close the edges.
